Sleeping Like an Angel During Pregnancy

Pregnancy is the largest gift in the life of a woman. Small baby born into the world, of course, be proof of love and affection of a family. But, this is a hard task for a mother. Because during pregnancy, the mother often face various problems such as sleep position which is not comfortable. At the first trimester of pregnancy, expectant mother can rest and sleep with any position, the important thing can provide sense of comfort for the mother.
The mother’s body can provides protection, so no need to worry the baby in your womb does not feel safe. Because the fetus in the womb soar in fetal fluids, so your baby will still feel comfortable. Below are some positions of sleep for pregnant women that you must know.
Prone Position
In the first trimester, this position still secure for pregnant women. But after the enlargement in breast happen, it will cause inconvenience to lie prone, usually at the age of entering the second trimester.
Recumbent Position
It is recommended after 17 weeks of pregnancy, expectant mother may not sleep with recumbent position, because it can lay all your weight to the back and may increase the risk of lumbago, hemorrhoids, and digestive disturbances, and disrupt breathing and circulation. Recumbent position to sleep in the second and third trimester can also causing a decrease in blood pressure that makes them feel headache.
Sloping Left Position
Sloping left position is recommended in the second and third trimester, because this position gives advantage for your baby to get the flow of blood and a lot of nutrition. And then can help to remove the kidney and the remaining product fluid from the body of the mother, so that reduces swelling in the legs, feet and hands. Sloping to the right is also good, you can change the position if you feel uncomfortable.
